Santa 2009

What is the old saying 3rd time is a charm? That proved to be true today! Noah has been so excited, so he has been saying, to go see Santa and sit on his lap. He tells everyone that he is a "big boy" and is going to tell him what he wants for Christmas and tells you "I not gonna cry." YEAH RIGHT!!

Mamma Frazier and Mommy took him on Saturday and he totally freaked out, not once, but twice even after asking to go see him. Good grief. We left and I figured this year was another dud and we wouldn't be visiting Santa again.

This morning we decided to give it another shot. It wasn't pretty by any means! We got there and he was "SO EXCITED" as he put it and told everyone that he saw as we made our way through JC Pennys. That was until we got to Santa...

We got in the 1 child line and he said NO and screamed liked I had stolen him from his real mother and was holding him hostage! Are you kidding me! I tried everything to get him to stop screaming and crying, but it was not happening, so he decided that he was going to sit in the middle of the what could have been line, but there was no one there today (thank goodness) and kept peeking around the corner at Santa (like it was a game of some sort)!

I finally got him onto Santa's lap and he cried for the 1st 2 pictures, which are terrible, but somehow Santa managed to get a really cute picture with Noah looking up at him. I love it!

Once Noah stopped his crying, he looked at Santa and said, "I love you" and then talked to him for a good 15-20 minutes about everything under the moon. Did I mention there was no other kids there? I couldn't get him away from Santa!!! Noah was telling him about how he is going to the Disney Channel (Disneyland), he would like Handy Manny Motorcycle, a Buzz Lightyear, a Woody, and even how his Daddy snores. I couldn't stop laughing and neither could Santa.

Anyone that has ever carried a conversation on with Noah knows that he can talk and talk and talk...just like his Mommy!

Needless to say, Santa ended up being able to work is magic and Mommy was very happy! Noah even told a little girl that was crying as we were leaving to be a big girl...yeah, because he was such a big boy :-) Mommy just laughed!

We are sure to have many more funny stories like these in the season to come! We have a little goof on our hands :-)

Happy Holidays!

Love to all!
Lynzee, Moses, and Noah
